Torque Works LLC — Return & Refund Policy

At Torque Works LLC, we supply industrial testing instruments, precision metrology tools, and related accessories to machine shops, manufacturing facilities, and quality-control laboratories. Because our products are highly specialized and often calibrated, our return standards must ensure product integrity and prevent resale of used or damaged equipment.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns under the following conditions:

The item must be unused, in original condition, and in the original packaging.

All accessories, manuals, calibration papers, and included components must be returned.

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.

A valid proof of purchase is required.
Certain items are not eligible for return, including:

Calibration blocks, reference standards, or consumables

Customized or special-order equipment

Items that show signs of use, wear, or contamination

Products that have been installed, calibrated, or modified by the customer
2. Return Approval Process

Photo(s) of the product and packaging
Once reviewed, we will issue an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and instructions for shipment. Returns sent without an RMA may be denied.
3. Shipping Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to a Torque Works error (wrong item, damaged on arrival, etc.).

Torque Works LLC is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping; we recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method.
4. Inspection and Refunds
After the returned item arrives, our team will inspect it within 3–5 business days.
Refund approval is based on:

Condition of the item

Completeness of all original components

Verification that the product was not used or damaged
If approved:

Refunds are issued to the original payment method

Shipping charges are non-refundable

A restocking fee (up to 15%) may apply for certain instruments to cover inspection and recalibration costs
If a return is denied, the item will be shipped back to the customer.
5. Defective or Damaged Items
If your product arrives damaged or non-functional, contact us within 7 days with photos or video.
We will arrange:

Replacement, or

A full refund
depending on product availability.
6. Exchanges
Exchanges may be allowed for the same product model only.
Exchanges for different models / specifications require a new order.
7. Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before they ship.
Once an item has shipped, it must follow the standard return process.
