Shipping Policy — Torque Works LLC

This Shipping Policy describes how orders are processed, fulfilled, and delivered by Torque Works LLC. Our goal is to provide clear expectations and reliable service for all customers purchasing industrial testing equipment and precision metrology tools.
1. Order Processing
• Orders for in-stock items are processed within 1–2 business days.
• Orders placed after 12:00 PM PST will be processed the next business day.
• Customers will receive an order confirmation email at checkout and a tracking number once the item ships.
During periods of high demand or supplier delays, processing times may be extended. Customers will be notified promptly if additional time is required.
2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates
Torque Works LLC ships through trusted carriers, including UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Typical delivery times within the United States are:
• UPS Ground: 3–5 business days
• FedEx Ground: 3–5 business days
• USPS Priority Mail: 2–4 business days
Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on destination, weather conditions, carrier delays, or high-volume periods.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
• Item weight and dimensions
• Distance to the delivery location
• Selected shipping method
Certain products may qualify for flat-rate or promotional shipping when applicable.
4. Lead Times for Specialty Tools
Some industrial instruments and metrology devices ship directly from authorized distributors or manufacturers. Estimated lead times include:
• Surface Roughness Testers: 2–5 business days
• Hardness Testers (Leeb/Brinell): 3–7 business days
• Calibration Blocks and Ra Standards: 2–4 business days
• Force and Torque Gauges: 3–7 business days
If an item requires extended lead time, customers will be notified by email with updated information.
5. Split Shipments
If an order contains multiple items, products may ship in separate packages depending on availability and warehouse location. Customers will receive tracking information for each shipment.
6. Order Tracking
Once an item ships, customers will receive:
• Tracking number
• Carrier link
• Estimated delivery date
Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to update depending on carrier activity.
7. Shipping Restrictions
Torque Works LLC currently ships only within the United States.
We do not ship to:
• P.O. Boxes (for certain carriers)
• International locations
• Freight forwarding services (unless pre-approved)
If an order contains an address issue, we will contact the customer for correction.
8. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If a package is lost or arrives damaged:
• Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery
• Provide photos of the product and packaging for damage claims
• We will coordinate a replacement or file a carrier claim at no cost to the customer
Torque Works LLC is not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect shipping addresses provided at checkout.
9. Delivery Confirmation
Once a carrier marks a package as “Delivered,” responsibility transfers to the customer. If an item is marked delivered but not received, please contact the carrier directly for resolution.
We will assist when possible, but carriers have sole authority over delivery disputes.
